The shaped piece is strip-felted, i.e. strips of cloth freely interwoven with fleece and wet-felted. I made it in a class with Polly Stirling. It is mounted on a sheet of handmade felt and beaded. I made two pieces for the door to my studio. The one on the left, the first, was bought by a massage therapist.
